We love LA’s Glassell Park neighborhood from its nickname Glassellland to its Historic Cemetery - Forest Lawn Memorial Park. It inspired us to create our hoodies and sweatshirts.

Did you know that before Glassell Park was officially Glassell Park - one of the area's biggest attractions was an enormous ‘squab’ farm known as ‘The Pigeon Ranch’. Over 100,000 of these urban delicacies perched along the LA River - sadly a flood in 1914 destroyed the ranch.

Glassell Park was founded by Attorney Andrew Glassell who received the land from the lawsuit known as the Great Partition of 1871.
Just a little history lesson, Andrew Glassell’s sister Susan was the grandmother of George S. Patton.
In 1901 much of the land was sold off to build Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
A who’s who of legendary Hollywood is buried there: Buster Keaton, Lucille Ball, Elizabeth Taylor...
There are lots of super fun outdoor activities in Glassell Park - you can jog, hike and bike at The Rio de Los Angeles State Park
There is a public ‘country club’- The Glassell Pool and it is outdoor and heated year round.
