FUN FACTS

Formerly Rancho Los Feliz, Colonel Griffith J. Griffith in 1896 donated 3000 acres to the city of Los Angeles to be used as a public park.
Today Griffith Park is 4310 acres and is the largest urban park in the US.
The park’s Observatory has starred in films - ‘Rebel Without a Cause’ and ‘LA LA LAND’.
Los Feliz has its share of dive bars (we love dive bars and so did Charles Bukowski).
And lounge bars like the Dresden Room - where Marty and Elaine have dazzled us with their jazz vibe for the last 40 years.
There is a Shakespeare Bridge and a Greek Theater.
Prospect Studios is where General Hospital and Grey’s Anatomy are produced and was the home of The Lawrence Welk Show.
Frank Lloyd Wright built the The Ennis House in 1924, the last and largest of Wright’s four LA “textile block” houses.
